About the role
- Manages and directs all clinical services within assigned urgent care centers.
- Responsible for the quality of care, clinical regulatory compliance, and supervision of all clinical caregivers.
- Collaborates across regions to share resources, implement improvement initiatives, and optimize performance.
- Accountable for financial, operational, and clinical goal attainment with operational partner.
- Direct the identification, development, and implementation of programs centered on quality and operational excellence.
- Ensure market compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Oversee maintenance of appropriate staffing levels and provide guidance on staffing practices.
- Review and assess key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide feedback to managers on operational performance.
- Develop relationships with local providers and service agencies.
Requirements
- MD Degree or equivalent from an accredited College of Medicine.
- Completion of Medical Residency with Board Certification or eligibility.
- Administrative experience in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Urgent Care, or related field, preferably in a major medical center or health system, required.
- Currently licensed as a physician, nurse practitioner, or physician assistant in the State of New York and/or Connecticut (as necessitated by assigned geography).
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
- Strong experience and skills in presentation of clinical and administrative topics to audiences of clinical and non-clinical staff in both formal and informal settings.
