Application Engineer

• Deliver pre-sales demonstrations and participate in technical discovery conversations to help customers evaluate SOLIDWORKS solutions.
• Support the sales team on technical calls by translating engineering and software capabilities into clear, practical business value.
• Develop technical content and other materials that help educate prospects and customers.
• Build strong working relationships with account representatives and other internal partners across the territory.
• Represent GoEngineer professionally in customer-facing settings and help create a positive experience across technical interactions.
• Participate in live events and other customer engagement opportunities to observe, support, and eventually lead presentations.
• Visit customer facilities to understand their designs, manufacturing processes, and technical environments.
• Progress through required certifications and training milestones to expand your technical and instructional capabilities.
• Research industry trends and competitive technologies to stay current and inform customer conversations.
• Manage multiple priorities independently and proactively identify the next opportunity to contribute.
• Help address customer concerns with professionalism, sound judgment, and effective de-escalation when challenges arise.
• Contribute in a flexible, self-directed environment where the day-to-day work evolves based on customer needs and team priorities.

Account Manager

• Proactively generate new opportunities through cold calling, targeted prospecting, and territory based lead generation.
• Guide prospects and customers through the full sales process, developing a deep understanding of their needs and closing new business.
• Promote and position advanced 3D scanning technologies within a variety of industries in a fast moving, technology focused environment.
• Travel to customer sites to deliver professional, solution focused product presentations and demonstrations.
• Build strong, trust based relationships with internal teams, partners, customers, and suppliers.
• Maintain accurate customer and opportunity records within our CRM platform.

Account Manager – 3D Scanner Sales

Bilingual

• Deliver engaging instructor-led SOLIDWORKS training (both remote and on-site) in English and French (including co-teaching initially, then teaching independently as you ramp up).
• Prepare training materials, formulate classroom objectives aligned with course objectives; create self-paced courses per GoEngineer standards; incorporate feedback to continuously improve the learning experience and maintain consistency across the training team.
• Work toward and maintain relevant SOLIDWORKS certifications (e.g., CSWA/CSWP; with growth opportunities toward advanced levels over time).
• Assess customer needs and assist in determining the appropriate training solution; answer attendee questions, coach students through exercises, and adapt instruction to different learning styles and experience levels.
• Maintain and update the office training room (computers, setup, training manual library); help organize and support new and evolving training initiatives, including assisting with team projects that improve scheduling, readiness, and execution.
• Contribute to internal documentation and best practices to help standardize course delivery and support team consistency.
• Partner with a highly tenured training team, leveraging mentorship and collaborating to deliver a high-quality, consistent training experience.
• Represent GoEngineer professionally in the classroom and ensure students have a positive, confidence-building training experience.
