• Own and drive GoDutch’s financial strategy by shaping capital structure, aligning finance with long-term company strategy, and supporting the CEO on key strategic and growth decisions.
• Lead regulatory finance at scale by owning regulatory capital and safeguarding requirements, ensuring compliance with prudential rules, managing financial regulatory reporting, and acting as a senior counterpart to regulators.
• Ensure financial integrity and audit excellence by owning audited financial statements, managing the audit process end-to-end, maintaining robust internal controls, and overseeing tax strategy and compliance.
• Strengthen risk management and governance by working closely with risk and compliance leadership, identifying and mitigating financial risks, participating in governance committees, and supporting board-level decision-making.
• Act as a trusted executive leader by providing clear financial insight to the board, investors, and regulators, enabling confident decisions as GoDutch scales in complexity, geography, and ambition.

• Designing and building secure, versioned REST APIs for frontend and partner integrations
• Developing banking and payments integrations, including webhooks with validation, transformation, and event publishing
• Building event-driven microservices using Kafka, with robust error handling, retries, dead-letter queues, and replayability
• Creating event projections and read models optimized for fast, reliable querying
• Owning the full production lifecycle of services on Kubernetes, including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and secure deployments
• Applying security best practices across APIs, infrastructure, and data flows (auth, secrets, RBAC, network policies)
• Building systems that correctly model banking domain concepts and handle financial data with accuracy, auditability, and regulatory awareness
