About the role

  • Maintain the existing application stack for Partners Experience product lineup (JavaScript, ReactJS frontend, NodeJS APIs)
  • Use JavaScript tooling libraries and webpack to ship production-ready software
  • Use infrastructure tooling like GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipelines
  • Modernize application stack using NodeJS (TypeScript) and ReactJS deployed to AWS
  • Strengthen security posture, craft fault tolerance, improve observability, and manage release pipelines
  • Work with product management and hub engineering to leverage existing capabilities and improve UI/workflows
  • Improve observability of production services to surface gaps, resolve issues, and measure performance
  • Lead by example on coding standards, test automation, and secure modern development practices
  • Engage with engineers and partners across the organization to drive broad-impact solutions

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience developing full-stack applications (SDLC) working with both frontend and backend technologies using JavaScript
  • Able to maintain JVM based deployments
  • 3+ years deep and hands on experience deploying applications to cloud platforms using AWS
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Good understanding of agile principles
  • Strong understanding of building fault tolerant systems (observability practices, operational excellence)
  • Foundational knowledge of data structures, REST APIs, Git repositories, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Familiarity with JavaScript tooling libraries including webpack
  • Experience with PHP (nice to have)
  • Experience using infrastructure tooling like GitHub Actions
