About the role
- Lead, coach, and develop a distributed SDR team across the UK and the US
- Create clear performance expectations, career paths, and development plans
- Foster a high-trust, high-accountability culture in a fully remote environment
- Hire and onboard 2 to 3 US-based SDRs (to start, with room to grow), building a strong and diverse team
- Partner with Talent and Sales leadership to ensure consistent hiring quality
- Design onboarding that ramps reps quickly and sets them up for long-term success
- Own the SDR pipeline motion, ensuring consistent, high-quality pipeline generation
- Build and refine outbound processes, messaging, and cadences
- Continuously test, learn, and iterate to improve conversion and efficiency
- Define and track key SDR metrics across activity, pipeline, and conversion
- Use data to diagnose performance gaps and drive improvement
- Ensure consistent execution across regions while allowing for local nuance
- Own SDR tooling and workflows (e.g., Apollo, Nooks, Gong, SFDC)
- Partner with RevOps to ensure systems, reporting, and automation scale with the team
- Enable reps with playbooks, talk tracks, and best practices
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and RevOps to align on ICP, targeting, and campaigns
- Provide feedback loops on lead quality, messaging performance, and market insights
Requirements
- Proven experience as an SDR Manager or SDR Team Lead managing multiple reps
- Strong people leadership skills with a track record of coaching and developing SDRs
- Experience hiring and scaling SDR teams, ideally in a SaaS or high-growth environment
- Deep familiarity with modern outbound and sales engagement tools
- AI/LMS proficiency and willingness to experiment and automate.
- Comfortable leading remote, distributed teams across time zones
- Highly organized, data-driven, and process-oriented
- Clear, confident communicator who builds credibility with reps and stakeholders
- Pragmatic, adaptable, and energized by building scalable systems—not heroics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; motivating presence in both prospect-facing and internal contexts.
- Entrepreneurial, resourceful, and energized by building something new.
- Must be located in the Eastern time zone of the US.
