About the role
- Provide legal support to the OACIQ's statutory committees.
- Draft legal opinions and analyze procedures and policies.
- Ensure committee work proceeds on schedule.
- Participate in interdepartmental meetings related to committee activities.
- Take part in various strategic projects.
Requirements
- Hold a law degree and be a lawyer or notary registered with the Order.
- Knowledge of professional/regulatory law (an asset).
- Knowledge of real estate brokerage, professional legislation, and governance and ethics rules (an asset).
- Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, legal databases).
- Excellent command of French, both written and spoken.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
