About the role

  • Designs, develops and maintains high-performance ABAP programs (workflows, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements and forms);
  • Performs unit testing and prepares functional and integrated test scenarios;
  • Provides support during production deployments and resolves defects;
  • Collaborates with functional analysts and project teams to translate business needs into technical solutions;
  • Optimizes SAP application performance;
  • Documents completed developments and participates in the training of business analysts;
  • Keeps up to date with best practices in their area of expertise, hones technical knowledge and makes recommendations as needed;

Requirements

  • University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or another relevant field;
  • Minimum of three years of experience in SAP development;
  • Note: other combinations of education and experience may be considered;
  • Understanding of business processes and the ability to translate them into technical solutions;
  • Experience with unit testing, documentation and SAP change management;
  • Proficiency in ABAP and SAP tools (ABAP-CDS, User Exit, BADI, BAPI, Adobe Forms, Workflows);
  • Knowledge of SAP Fiori, HTML5, UI5, JavaScript and CSS;
  • Functional knowledge of FI, CO, SD, MM processes (an asset);
  • Knowledge of S/4HANA, SAP PI/PO, BRF+, OPD, IDocs and EDI (an asset);
  • Bilingualism in French (advanced) and English (intermediate) is required for this position.
