• Ownership of the process and documentation to facilitate:
• Creation of product assets that combine both product rich information into easily consumed documentation
• That customer and market inputs have been identified, resolved into key project requirements, conduct research, and seek conceptual alignment with the product team.
• Version control and prioritized feature development of scaling tools such as the Glydways system simulator, ridership projections, system calculators.

Product Manager – Solution Design

Engineer

• Design and implement algorithms that dynamically allocate vehicles to meet time-varying passenger demand.
• Formulate and solve optimization problems (e.g., MILP, QP, network flow) for vehicle routing, rebalancing, and resource allocation.
• Develop heuristics or approximations for real-time decision-making when full optimization isn’t tractable.
• Implement feedback-based strategies to maintain stable fleet utilization.
• Build mathematical and simulation models representing vehicle movement, demand patterns, and station queues. Derive and maintain performance metrics (e.g., wait time, idle miles, fairness, stability).

• Serve as primary liaison to government stakeholders and funding partners to build support and secure local, state, and federal funding
• Track, analyze and prioritize transportation, infrastructure, climate and economic development funding opportunities
• Maintain a forward-looking calendar of grant programs, legislative appropriations, and discretionary funding programs aligned with Glydways projects

• Perform safety analysis at all levels of the Glydways Automated Transit System to identify design vulnerabilities and specify safety requirements for the Glydways system, transit network operations, and guideway infrastructure to ensure passenger and operations safety
• Work with project stakeholders to analyze hazards specific to each project, assure compliance to local safety and regulatory standards, and support safety certification for new systems
• Work with cross-functional teams to contribute to the development of automated transit technology, coordinate safety requirements across a complex system, and support definition of system constraints
