Manager

• The Quality Manager reports to the SVP of Safety, Quality and Compliance and is a key member of the Safety, Quality and Compliance (SQC) organization.
• This role works at the intersection of engineering, supply chain, operations, and safety, providing independent quality oversight across the full product lifecycle.
• The Quality Manager partners closely with hardware and software engineering, systems engineering, test operations, and program management to embed a culture of quality discipline and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
• We're looking for a Quality Manager to lead Glydways’ progression toward ISO 9001 certification, including system readiness, audit preparedness, and registrar engagement.
• This role goes beyond documentation, you will define how the organization plans, controls, assures, and improves quality across all functions.
• While you are comfortable operating in an environment where systems and processes are being defined and matured, not inherited, you will support the Glydways Quality Management System (QMS), drive its implementation and continual improvement, lead the internal audit program, manage corrective and preventive actions, enforce formal design review gates, and ensure that configuration management practices provide full traceability and auditability.
• You will prepare the organization for management reviews by compiling quality performance data, audit results, and improvement action status.
• As Glydways transitions toward pilot deployments and revenue service, your work will directly determine whether our products meet the rigorous safety and quality standards that public transit demands.
• You will ensure that what we build is safe, reliable, and worthy of public trust.

Quality Manager

Full-stack Engineer

• Implement state-of-the-art onboard multimodal multitask ML perception models, and finetune them to improve performance
• Develop custom adaptations (such as layers, loss functions, etc.) to improve performance on our datasetResearch and development in various areas, including multiview sensor fusion for redundancy, robustness, and safety critical operation; and scene understanding with a focus on anomaly detection.
• Design and perform experiments, and share and present findings, potentially as a peer-reviewed publication.
• Work with multimodal (camera, lidar, radar) datasets from a multiagent autonomous system

Perception Software Engineering Intern

• Implement and own perception algorithms spanning detection, classification, sensor fusion, and multi-object tracking using both ML-based and classical methods
• Develop end-to-end perception pipelines from raw sensor input (camera, LiDAR, radar) to structured scene understanding outputs consumed by downstream autonomy modules
• Develop and maintain simulation, log-replay, visualization, and offline analysis workflows to maximize test coverage and accelerate validation prior to on-vehicle deployment
• Build tooling and infrastructure for dataset management, model training, evaluation, and deployment at scale

Perception Software Engineer

Systems Engineer

• Support alignment planning for project pursuits, including site and corridor analysis, selecting an appropriate guideway type, and establishing access point locations.
• Developing site-specific access point site plans with consideration to vehicle and pedestrian circulation and support facilities using various 2D & 3D design and planning tools.
• Produce system drawings, quantity take‑offs, and prepare cost estimates.
• Produce clear graphics that support commercial partners - plans, sections, diagrams, and layouts for proposals and presentations.
• Support production for renderings, animations, and VR experiences, ensuring visuals are grounded in system geometry and constraints.
• Partner with Infrastructure, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure concepts align with evolving design criteria and system requirements.

Transit Systems Designer

Civil Engineer

• Focus on assisting with the continuous development and innovation of Glydways Infrastructure requirements.
• Help to develop and clearly articulate the Glydways Infrastructure requirements to effectively communicate to outside clients and the internal team.
• Collaborate closely with the product, engineering, system planning and design, and project management on design challenges, infrastructure technical issues, preliminary planning, and design needs.
• Effectively communicate infrastructure project needs ensuring alignment between Glydways’ vehicle design and development with respect to infrastructure.
• Help coordinate, prioritize, and drive project needs in partnership with the engineering team to develop the best technical solution and maintain project timelines.
• Meet with outside civil engineering consultants, contractors, and local entities as needed, per project basis, to ensure Glydways design requirements are upheld (typically virtual).
• Provide project related support as needed, to include conceptual or preliminary design and oversight, as well as, review consultant design work and provide infrastructure guidance.

Senior Civil Engineer

Engineer

• Design, implement, and maintain high-performance C++ modules at the boundary of detection like tracking, and prediction.
• Integrate outputs from multiple sensors(camera, lidar, radar, map) into EKF-based tracking and fusion systems.
• Own metrics, evaluation pipelines, and tooling to measure detection and tracking quality and catch regressions at scale.
• Define and maintain clear interfaces between perception, tracking, and planning modules with a focus on robustness and debuggability.
• Develop simulation, log-replay, visualization, and offline analysis workflows to improve test coverage before on-vehicle deployment.

Perception Integration Software Engineer

• Leading efforts by internal and external resources to build, maintain, and improve ML platforms and workflows.
• Introducing and customizing automation into data extraction and labeling pipelines.
• Design and improve metrics pipelines and create monitoring dashboards to track performance of perception systems in production.
• Build and maintain infrastructure and ETL pipelines for training, validating, and deploying ML models.
• Build and maintain infrastructure for interfacing with third party labeling companies.
• Ensure reproducibility, traceability, and observability of Perception workflows.

Lead ML Platform Software Engineer

• Design, implement, and maintain the on-premise Kubernetes platform to ensure high availability, scalability, and security for critical services.
• Establish and enforce best practices for Kubernetes cluster lifecycle management, including upgrades, patching, and configuration management using tools like Helm, Kustomize, or GitOps (ArgoCD/Flux).
• Develop and manage core infrastructure components such as service mesh, ingress controllers, logging, and secret management within the on-premise environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to the Kubernetes control plane, networking, storage, and underlying hardware/OS in a mission-critical, on-premise setting.
• Collaborate closely with software engineering teams to understand their needs, implement improvements, maintain security policies, network segmentation, and access controls within the Kubernetes environment.

Senior Software Engineer – Kubernetes Platform

• Become a domain expert in the Glydways system and share that expertise broadly across the organization.
• Decompose top-level functions, behaviors, and features into clear, testable system requirements.
• Drive system architecture and design alignment through trade studies, data analysis, and structured decision-making.
• Define verification and validation strategies at the integrated system level.
• Derive technical requirements (hardware, software, and infrastructure) requirements that balance performance, safety, and budget constraints.
• Collaborate with the Safety Engineering team to contribute to the functional safety case.
• Conduct analyses (hazard analysis, FTA, and FMEA) to anticipate and mitigate system risks.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (autonomy, embedded, hardware, product, infrastructure, operations) to ensure requirements are actionable, measurable, and aligned with program goals.
• Diagnose potential system failures, analyze impacts, and propose mitigations.

Systems Engineer – Autonomous Vehicles

Backend Engineer

• Designing and maintaining the TRR backend — ride matching, station queueing, request lifecycle management, and fare calculation
• Building and operating services on top of PostgreSQL, Redis, and RabbitMQ in a Kubernetes environment
• Improving system observability — tracing, metrics, alerting — so we catch problems before riders do

City Marketing Manager

• Lead development of an interactive dispatch mapping tool
• Design intuitive editing workflows and UI interactions
• Integrate simulation outputs and performance metrics into the mapping tool
• Contribute production-quality code to the Dispatch codebase
• Collaborate with teammates to translate operational questions into optimization studies

Software Engineering Intern – Dispatch, Map Building

Mechanical Engineer

• Design and develop enclosures, brackets, and other mechanical components for ECUs, sensors, control modules, and power electronics, focusing on high-volume, cost-effective manufacturing.
• Collaborate with electronics hardware teams to assess and improve the mechanical robustness of designs during early development phases.
• Use GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) to create detailed manufacturing drawings.
• Work with suppliers to ensure components and assemblies meet automotive quality standards.
• Conduct DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and DFA (Design for Assembly) analyses to optimize designs for production.
• Support the execution of mechanical reliability tests (e.g., vibration, thermal cycling, environmental stress) on ECU enclosures.
• Analyze field performance data and warranty returns to identify mechanical design issues and drive corrective actions.
• Conduct Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to identify and mitigate potential mechanical failures.
