About the role

  • Join Trading Standards Service as an Accredited Financial Investigator.
  • Play a key role in disrupting criminal activity and ensuring consumers are protected.
  • Conduct complex financial investigations.
  • Work closely with colleagues in Trading Standards and other partner agencies.

Requirements

  • Experienced Accredited Financial Investigator under the Proceeds of Crime Act (POCA)
  • Lead complex financial investigations and collaborate with Trading Standards and partner agencies to trace, restrain, and confiscate criminal assets
  • Use experience of cash seizure and forfeiture to disrupt criminal behaviours and support delivery of safer communities
  • Covering letter/personal statement must state relevant experience and criteria met.
