About the role

Develop, release, and run large-scale web applications that empower beauty and wellness businesses
Build new AI features for customers
Develop and define microservice-based infrastructure
Build tools and solutions that enable internal teams to work faster and improve user value (Business Scalability)
Work on core experiences: payments friction-free, tools to help customers earn more per hour, enable businesses to grow and manage teams
Focus on front-end development for web and mobile applications
Improve performance, reliability, scalability, and security for backend systems

2+ years of professional experience in software development
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
Strong desire to move fast and have a significant impact
Entrepreneurial mindset; eager to take ownership and contribute new ideas
Ability to analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources
Demonstrates strong collaboration skills and team spirit
Familiarity with or willingness to learn stack: Kotlin (micronaut, jooq), Ruby (Rails, Sidekiq), gRPC, protobuf, Typescript/Javascript (React, Redux), React Native, AWS, Kubernetes, Postgres, Terraform
Must be commutable to NYC headquarters (Union Square) and work hybrid 2 days per week (Tuesdays & Thursdays)
