About the role

  • Support and ensure smooth 24x7 running of the operations in the 'in-country' data center.
  • Acts as Level 1 escalation point by overseeing and resolving all onsite operational incidents and major issues.
  • Documents and updates accurately all requests on the internal web portal ticketing system.
  • Implements best in class DC operations based on ITIL and industry practices.
  • Ensures effective implementations of safety, security and customer support policy and procedures.
  • Coordinates and provides support to contractors and vendors as well as inspecting completed work.
  • Plans and supports all preventive and reactive maintenance activities with little to no disruption to company's services.
  • Participates and supports internal and external audits for internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Generates accurate and regular reports when required.
  • Any other duties or project as assigned by the management.

Requirements

  • Certificate or Diploma in IT/Computing/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Technical Training Certifications , Network Certifications or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience in 24x7 DC or facility operations environment, or fresh graduate with relevant qualifications
  • Possess general knowledge of M&E and Network Critical Infrastructure
  • Good knowledge in M&E and building facilities related systems
  • Meticulous team player with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • English - spoken and written
