About the role
- Act as the first point of contact for new candidate leads
- Contact applicants quickly (within 24 hours) to maximize conversion rates
- Deliver a clear, engaging phone pitch introducing the company and opportunity
- Conduct initial screening to assess candidates skill level
- Move candidates efficiently through recruitment stages
- Manage high-volume outbound calls and structured follow-ups
- Provide weekend lead coverage (Saturday/Sunday) to maintain speed-to-contact
- Collaborate closely with the Head of People and recruitment team to optimize outreach strategy
- Maintain accurate and organized candidate data within the system
Requirements
- Fluent or strong professional-level German (essential)
- Confident and persuasive communicator, especially over the phone
- High energy and motivated — attitude matters more than years of experience
- Comfortable handling rejection and maintaining enthusiasm across high call volumes
- Organized and tech-savvy, with experience using HR systems or CRM tools
- Able to work weekends as part of a high-speed recruitment model
- Reliable remote setup with stable internet and ability to conduct frequent calls
- Thrives in performance-driven environments where speed and conversion matter
