About the role

  • Directly manage all teams
  • Foster the professional growth and development of the teams through coaching, mentorship, and training
  • Set performance expectations, coverage models, and workload priorities across all teams
  • Lead hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance management
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, team reviews, and development planning
  • Oversee daily execution of quote creation, order entry, quote resolution, and quote-to-order conversion
  • Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of customer and seller requests
  • Monitor queues, backlog, and service levels to maintain operational standards
  • Support the execution of sales programs and operational initiatives impacting Sales Excellence
  • Partner with the Sr Manager, Sales Programs & Support on planning, rollout, and adoption of sales initiatives
  • Ensure teams are aligned to program requirements and execution expectations
  • Evaluate workflows across quoting, order entry, and account support to identify inefficiencies and risks
  • Implement process improvements to reduce cycle time, errors, and rework
  • Partner with Sales Ops, IT, and cross-functional teams on system and process enhancements
  • Track and report on KPIs including turnaround time, backlog volume, closure rates, and accuracy
  • Analyze trends and recommend staffing, workflow, or process adjustments
  • Provide regular operational updates and insights to leadership
  • Support sales programs and operational initiatives impacting the Sales Excellence team
  • Lead or contribute to projects focused on scalability, consistency, and customer experience improvements

Requirements

  • College degree or equivalent experience with strong attention to detail
  • Experience in customer success, sales support, quoting, or order management
  • Proven people management experience across multiple teams or functions
  • Experience using data to inform staffing models, workflow changes, or process improvements
  • Strong understanding of sales operations and quote-to-order processes
  • Excellent communication, organization, and prioritization skills
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
  • Ability to lead in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
