About the role

  • We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Representative & Marketing Specialist to drive growth and expand our client base in the charter transportation sector.
  • The ideal candidate will be skilled in prospecting, client relationship management, and negotiation, with proven experience using Zoho CRM, or similar CRM, and ZoomInfo.
  • This role requires a proactive approach to both sales and marketing, ensuring a seamless experience for prospects and clients alike.
  • Key Responsibilities: Prospecting & Lead Generation
  • Identify, research, and qualify new business opportunities using ZoomInfo, Zoho CRM, and other prospecting tools
  • Execute outbound outreach via calls, emails, and social media to generate leads and build a robust sales pipeline
  • Attend and represent the company at industry events and conferences as needed
  • Client Relationship Management
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with prospective and existing clients, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and retention
  • Maintain detailed records of all client interactions, opportunities, and follow-ups within Zoho CRM
  • Serve as a consultative partner, understanding client needs and providing tailored charter transportation solutions
  • Negotiation & Closing
  • Lead negotiations with prospects and clients to secure new contracts and renewals, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver accurate pricing, proposals, and service agreements.
  • Marketing Support
  • Work with the marketing team to develop and execute campaigns targeting key market segments.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic outreach and positioning
  • Deliver market insights and client feedback to improve service offerings and marketing strategies
  • Reporting & Pipeline Management
  • Maintain an organized pipeline of leads and opportunities, updating Zoho CRM regularly with activity and progress
  • Provide regular reports on sales activity, pipeline status, and key metrics to management.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably in transportation, logistics, or B2B services
  • Comfortable and proficient with Zoho CRM and ZoomInfo for prospecting and client management
  • Demonstrated ability in prospecting, client relationship management, and negotiation
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or relevant experience.
  • Preferred: Experience in the charter transportation or logistics industry.
  • Familiarity with additional sales and marketing automation tools.
