About the role
- Responsible for leading all maintenance operations across multi-shift food production lines
- Ensure equipment reliability and adherence to maintenance schedules
- Assemble, motivate and manage a high-performance team
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and manage capital projects
- Promote a culture of safety and compliance with relevant standards
- Develop and implement proactive maintenance strategies
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external contractors
- Provide technical support for troubleshooting and process optimization
- Collaborate closely with Operations to align maintenance activities with production goals
- Respond to facility issues and emergencies on a 24/7 basis
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- At least 5 years of relevant maintenance leadership experience, preferably in a food or nutraceutical production environment
- Strong knowledge of high voltage multi-phase electrical systems troubleshooting
- Experience in food processing and packaging equipment and processes
- Experience with HVAC, alarms & surveillance, fire systems, electrical service and distribution systems
- Working knowledge of GMP’s, OSHA, Electrical Safety, Food Safety (FDA, SQF, NSF), and Building Code regulations
- Experience with computerized predictive/preventative maintenance program, work order generation/logging and provide trend information
- Ability to work in a fast paced, high intensity environment
- Ability to read and understand control logic, P&IDs and other technical material pertinent to automated packaging equipment
