About the role

  • Configuration and change management
  • Administration, maintenance and control of product structures, bills of materials (BOMs) and configurations in the PLM system (Windchill / fPLM).
  • Ensuring data consistency across the entire product lifecycle.
  • Managing and documenting change processes (Change Board).
  • PLM system support (Windchill).
  • Building, maintaining and further developing structures, templates and workflows in the PLM system.
  • Supporting business units in the use of Windchill (first-level support).
  • Preparing analyses, reports and documentation templates.
  • Participating in digitization projects related to product data and process management.

Requirements

  • Completed technical training, with further qualification as a technician or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in configuration management, change control and work preparation.
  • Confident use of PLM systems, preferably PTC Windchill.
  • Understanding of technical drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), manufacturing processes and product structures.
  • Structured, analytical and solution-oriented working style.
  • Strong communication skills and enjoyment of cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Good English and German skills, both written and spoken.
  • Proficient computer skills and IT affinity.
  • SAP R/3 experience is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of CATIA V5.
