About the role
- Reporting to the Senior Director of Procurement & Supply Chain, the Procurement Manager is accountable for supplier delivery performance supporting uninterrupted operations at the Garden Grove site.
- This role leads the day-to-day execution of procurement operations, proactively managing supplier performance, mitigating supply risk, and resolving delivery challenges to achieve 100% operational uptime.
- As the primary escalation point for operational buyers, the Procurement Manager provides leadership, prioritization, and issue resolution to ensure timely material flow.
- This position partners closely with Supply Chain, Operations, and suppliers to maintain continuity of supply while driving accountability, performance improvement, and operational excellence across the supply base.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field; 7+ years of relevant aerospace industry experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- 5+ years of relevant business experience, including 3+ years in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or Production Management within the aerospace industry
- 1+ years of experience managing and leading people
- Ability to travel up to 25% domestically
- U.S. Person, as defined by ITAR regulations, to comply with export control requirements
- APICS, CPM, or comparable supply chain or procurement certification preferred
- Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS requirements and contractual flow downs
- Strong understanding of the aerospace industry and the AS9100 Quality Management System
- Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to build strong supplier relationships with insight into supplier processes and capabilities
- Proven leadership experience working with cross‑functional teams
