About the role
- Cultivate a safe work environment that promotes mental and emotional wellness throughout the organization.
- Support Site Operations goals and identify opportunities to increase organizational effectiveness and productivity.
- Analyze data trends and metrics to recommend appropriate business decisions.
- Role model the GKN Culture Principles and support the organization in deploying them.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the human resources department to develop policies, programs, and workforce solutions.
- Create and implement innovative solutions to build morale, improve workplace relationships, and boost productivity and retention.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
- 5 years of human resources generalist experience, including experience in a manufacturing setting with 100+ employees.
- 3+ years of full-time human resources experience, including strong employee relations.
- Hands-on experience in employee relations and labor law application.
- Must be adept at problem-solving, including being able to identify issues and resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (incl. Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
