• Strategic and operational leadership of a business unit within the commercial property insurance segment
• Conceptual development and market-oriented positioning of the business area
• Development of portfolio management strategies, underwriting guidelines and underwriting policies in line with corporate and divisional strategy
• Preparation of regular reports for executive management and derivation of well-founded decisions based on relevant KPIs
• Planning and implementation of measures to increase revenue and profitability
• Organization, coordination and optimization of operational processes as well as management of the department using qualitative and quantitative KPIs
• Definition and consistent enforcement of the underwriting/acceptance policy for commercial property insurance
• Technical support for the sales team in complex customer and risk situations
• Maintenance and expansion of key large accounts and close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders
