Product Marketing

• Drive quota planning in the annual Go-To-Market planning process for the CRO organization.
• Partner closely with Sales Finance and the rest of Field Operations to design quota and compensation plans for roles across the CRO organization (including core Sales, Customer Success, Ecosystem, Management and others).
• Iterate on the Field Planning & Bottoms-up Quota Capacity Models; maintain throughout the year and use to drive insights that improve efficiency of the GTM motion.
• Deliver insightful performance analytics that lead to improvements in the design and effectiveness of compensation models.
• Monitor quota attainment trends and provide operational support throughout the year.
• Own high-impact reporting on all People Performance data points in the CRO organization: hiring to plan, Sales Capacity, Productivity, Quota Attainment, etc.
• Provide the CRO organization with thoughtful insights about the effectiveness of Go-To-Market planning initiatives.

GTM Planning – Operations Analyst

Product Designer

• Proactively identify large, strategic UX opportunities that span both inside your areas and across the product. Work with other product design managers, staff, and principal product designers to drive cross-product initiatives through awareness and prioritization.
• Identify strategic user research initiatives that span multiple stage groups (and possibly the entire product), and work with other product design/research managers to organize research efforts.
• Be a frequent and active participant in milestones by reviewing UX deliverables (such as research and designs) that your team creates, and provide feedback to ensure high-quality output.
• Communicate the value of UX to cross-functional GitLab team members and work with them to leverage the product development flow.
• Help the product teams of areas you support to prioritize UX initiatives including Deferred UX, triage and resolution of UX bugs, and overall usability improvements to the product. Lead UX Scorecard initiatives in order to consistently measure the experience of your product areas and show improvements over time.
• Contribute to product direction conversations, with emphasis on leading the experience vision for your product areas.
• Hire, grow and retain a world-class team of Designers.

Product Design Manager – Platforms, Plan

Sales

• Lead and manage a 5-person Commercial AMER sales team to execute territory plans and consistently meet software bookings and revenue goals.
• Drive sales strategy and deal execution across existing and new Commercial customers, ensuring healthy pipeline coverage and disciplined opportunity management.
• Analyze market dynamics, territory trends, and customer needs to refine territory design, industry coverage, and go-to-market approaches.
• Prepare, own, and communicate accurate forecasts and territory management plans that align with broader Commercial and corporate revenue objectives.
• Educate and enable your team on competitive products, market regulations, pricing, and trends in DevSecOps, AI-powered DevSecOps, and open source software.
• Establish, track, and report on performance metrics, using data to coach your team, improve execution, and address performance gaps.
• Recruit, hire, and onboard Commercial sales talent while maintaining a strong external network and pipeline of prospective candidates.

Recruitment

• Design, implement, and continuously optimize talent acquisition processes, workflows, and systems to drive efficiency, consistency, and scalability across global recruiting operations
• Serve as the primary owner and administrator for Greenhouse ATS, partnering with technical teams to configure workflows, build reporting capabilities, and ensure seamless integration with Workday HRIS
• Lead talent acquisition enablement initiatives including recruiter onboarding, ongoing training programs, process documentation, and the creation of resources that enable teams to execute effectively
• Drive change management for major talent acquisition transformations, including communication planning, stakeholder engagement, training development, and adoption tracking
• Build and maintain comprehensive reporting and analytics frameworks that provide visibility into recruiting metrics, capacity planning, and operational performance across regions and functions
