About the role
- Own and close a personal book of business across Mid-Market and Enterprise accounts, consistently delivering against revenue targets
- Lead solution-oriented sales cycles for technical developer productivity and Software Engineering Intelligence (SEI) products, translating developer and delivery data into strategic insights for engineering leadership
- Run disciplined, high-quality sales cycles from qualification through close, modeling best practices in discovery, value articulation, and mutual action planning
- Act as a frontline expert in GitKraken’s Sales Assist motion, providing feedback and recommendations to improve lead handoffs, qualification, and conversion
- Uphold and reinforce high standards for speed-to-lead and follow-up, ensuring strong engagement with high-intent inbound users
- Mentor and support AEs and Account Managers through deal reviews, call coaching, and best-practice sharing
- Act as a trusted voice from the field, surfacing insights on buyer behavior, objections, and competitive dynamics
- Partner closely with GTM leadership to provide real-world feedback that improves messaging, content, and the Sales Assist workflow
- Contribute to evolving sales processes, tooling, and enablement materials based on firsthand selling experience
Requirements
- 7+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, with a strong track record as a high-performing individual contributor
- Proven success selling complex technical or analytics platforms, ideally within Software Engineering Intelligence (SEI), DevOps, or developer tooling
- Deep familiarity with engineering buyer personas, including VPs of Engineering and CTOs
- Strong working knowledge of HubSpot, including pipeline management, reporting, and CRM hygiene
- Experience selling into Mid-Market and Enterprise accounts, managing multi-stakeholder deals
- Prior experience acting as a team lead, mentor, or informal coach is strongly preferred.
