Account Executive

• Own and close a personal book of business across Mid-Market and Enterprise accounts, consistently delivering against revenue targets
• Lead solution-oriented sales cycles for technical developer productivity and Software Engineering Intelligence (SEI) products, translating developer and delivery data into strategic insights for engineering leadership
• Run disciplined, high-quality sales cycles from qualification through close, modeling best practices in discovery, value articulation, and mutual action planning
• Act as a frontline expert in GitKraken’s Sales Assist motion, providing feedback and recommendations to improve lead handoffs, qualification, and conversion
• Uphold and reinforce high standards for speed-to-lead and follow-up, ensuring strong engagement with high-intent inbound users
• Mentor and support AEs and Account Managers through deal reviews, call coaching, and best-practice sharing
• Act as a trusted voice from the field, surfacing insights on buyer behavior, objections, and competitive dynamics
• Partner closely with GTM leadership to provide real-world feedback that improves messaging, content, and the Sales Assist workflow
• Contribute to evolving sales processes, tooling, and enablement materials based on firsthand selling experience

Senior Account Executive

Customer Success Manager

• Own and evolve GitKraken’s digital customer success approach for low-touch and self-serve customers.
• Define scalable strategies that improve activation, adoption, retention, and renewal using automation and in-product engagement.
• Partner with CS leadership to ensure digital success programs complement higher-touch customer motions.
• Design and operate automated, usage-based lifecycle journeys from post-sale onboarding through ongoing adoption and renewal.
• Build enablement programs that guide customers to key milestones (e.g., first successful workflow, integration setup, collaboration behaviors).
• Proactively identify and re-engage at-risk or inactive customers through low-touch interventions.
• Own the strategy and execution of in-app guidance, including walkthroughs, tooltips, contextual messaging, and announcements.
• Partner with Product teams to support feature launches with effective self-serve education and adoption experiences.
• Define and monitor key digital customer success metrics, including activation, engagement, adoption, churn indicators, and retention.
• Leverage product usage data and telemetry to understand customer behavior and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Serve as a customer advocate by synthesizing customer behavior and feedback into actionable insights for Product and Engineering.
• Collaborate with Support, Product Marketing, and CS to ensure a consistent, high-quality customer experience.
• Communicate program performance and customer insights to internal stakeholders.

Digital Customer Success Manager

• Own the customer journey immediately following sign-up
• Design, test, and optimize the onboarding flow to minimize friction and accelerate the user's Time-to-Value (TTV)
• Define, map, and continuously optimize all customer lifecycle stages from Activation to Renewal and Expansion
• Develop and execute high-impact, usage-based strategies to retain at-risk users/accounts
• Lead the strategy for customer data and telemetry to ensure robust tracking of all user behaviors
• Own the strategy and execution of contextual communication designed to drive successful outcomes within the product
• Serve as the 'Voice of Retention' by partnering with Product teams to prioritize product improvements

Sales

• Actively manage a personal sales territory to demonstrate sales process excellence, contribute directly to revenue targets, and stay connected to market dynamics.
• Deep understanding of the developer workflow, Git, and the engineering tools landscape.
• Proven ability to sell Software Engineering Intelligence (SEI) products by translating complex data into actionable insights for technical leaders.
• Take ownership of the existing Content-Led Sales Assist motion, tuning the engine to ensure seamless handoffs, effective lead qualification, and optimal conversion rates.
• Provide expert sales leadership over HubSpot, enforcing best practices for lead management, pipeline reporting, process automation, and forecasting accuracy.
• Establish and enforce stringent SLAs for lead response and follow-up, ensuring no opportunity is missed within our high-intent user base.
• Recruit, onboard, and develop high-performing Account Executives (AEs) and Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), fostering a high-accountability, results-driven culture.
• Partner with the CCO and CMO to refine the GTM strategy for Mid-Market and Enterprise accounts, identifying opportunities to improve the Sales Assist workflow based on real-world feedback.
• Accurately forecast revenue targets and build robust pipelines to exceed those goals.
