About the role
- Independent responsibility for leading IT and SAP projects (medium to large) — from concept through successful delivery
- Planning, controlling and monitoring projects, including budget, resources and schedules
- Leading complex large-scale projects or managing subprojects, and coordinating external service providers
- Applying contract management expertise to project work
- Using traditional and agile methods (Scrum, Kanban) as well as project management tools and standards
- Conducting commercial negotiations and communicating confidently with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
Requirements
- Degree in (business) informatics/computer science, business administration, or an equivalent qualification
- Several years' experience leading IT and SAP projects, ideally in sectors such as energy, the public sector, industry, or education/research
- Solid knowledge of traditional and agile project management methods and common tools
- Experience in contract management; certifications such as IPMA C/D, PMI, or PRINCE2 are a plus
- Willingness to travel occasionally within Germany
- Very good German language skills and good English
