Oversee and execute the Girls on the Run Rio Grande program.
Develop and implement overall strategy and vision for the program, administration, financial operations, revenue generation, program development and activities.
Develop and foster relationship with Board of Directors and Girls on the Run International.
Recruit, train, develop, evaluate staff and volunteers; maintain staffing structure.
Plan and manage two 10-week seasons of GOTR curriculum including school site recruitment, volunteer and coach recruitment and training, and student recruitment.
Track progress toward organizational goals and GOTR Mission Advancement Markers.
Cultivate relationships with coaches, donors, parents, participants, sponsors and volunteers.
Plan and manage celebratory end-of-season 5ks and act as community ambassador.
Ensure compliance with nonprofit laws and GOTR International Membership Agreement; develop policies and procedures.
Execute financial, operational and programmatic reports to GOTR International and funding agencies.
Oversee fundraising efforts, donor cultivation, grants, sponsorships, events, media relations, and partnerships.
Maintain financial records, internal controls, assist Board with budget development and reporting.
Requirements
Minimum of three to five years of demonstrated experience with organizational management.
Demonstrated ability of building and leading effective teams.
Passion for the Girls on the Run mission and the ability to comprehend and effectively communicate issues surrounding empowerment, self-esteem, body image and whole-person health.
Outstanding communication skills in multiple environments and with a range of audiences.
Demonstrated experience setting and managing budgets and financial forecasting.
Ability to multitask, prioritize and make efficient decisions.
