About the role

  • Work closely with the VP of Sales Performance and the Executive Team to set the sales strategy to ensure revenue goals are met
  • Manage up to 8 Regional Directors of Sales
  • Oversee a portfolio of 45 to 60 hotels for successful execution of sales plans
  • Proactively develop and lead a team of sales “hunters” by demonstrating proper sales strategies and techniques
  • Encourage, support and motivate team through Bi-Weekly One on One’s and Team Meetings
  • Establish and build relationships with key brand partners, hotel owners, and General Managers
  • Drive sales performance and provide coaching to implement improvements and retain clients
  • Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting to the VP of Sales Performance and Executive Team
  • Create remarkable client experiences and manage expectations

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of Director of Sales experience in a regional role overseeing a Select Service portfolio
  • Success in leading a high performing sales team focused on revenue generation and sales performance
  • Experience leading a team of 8+ salespeople in a remote environment
  • Proficiency using a CRM and analyzing data to evaluate sales performance
  • Expertise in hiring and onboarding sales associates
  • Persuasive communication and ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrates a deep commitment to company culture and caring for its employees and clients
  • Effective presentation skills
  • Experience working in a remote home office environment
  • Ability to work from your home office at a computer for extended periods of time
