About the role
- Work closely with the VP of Sales Performance and the Executive Team to set the sales strategy to ensure revenue goals are met
- Manage up to 8 Regional Directors of Sales
- Oversee a portfolio of 45 to 60 hotels for successful execution of sales plans
- Proactively develop and lead a team of sales “hunters” by demonstrating proper sales strategies and techniques
- Encourage, support and motivate team through Bi-Weekly One on One’s and Team Meetings
- Establish and build relationships with key brand partners, hotel owners, and General Managers
- Drive sales performance and provide coaching to implement improvements and retain clients
- Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting to the VP of Sales Performance and Executive Team
- Create remarkable client experiences and manage expectations
Requirements
- 3-5 years of Director of Sales experience in a regional role overseeing a Select Service portfolio
- Success in leading a high performing sales team focused on revenue generation and sales performance
- Experience leading a team of 8+ salespeople in a remote environment
- Proficiency using a CRM and analyzing data to evaluate sales performance
- Expertise in hiring and onboarding sales associates
- Persuasive communication and ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrates a deep commitment to company culture and caring for its employees and clients
- Effective presentation skills
- Experience working in a remote home office environment
- Ability to work from your home office at a computer for extended periods of time
