About the role
- Architect, design, and implement security and transport-related technologies for GigaSMART
- Work with cross-functional groups to contribute to product specifications, software architecture, and design
- Help develop innovative network security solutions to expand Gigamon's portfolio
- Propose designs/solutions to meet requirements for new products
- Conduct feasibility analysis for proposed solutions
- Produce functional specifications and design documents
- Mentor junior engineers in software development, technology, and processes
- Work in a very fast-paced environment
Requirements
- Minimum MSEE/CS
- 10 years of software development experience in networking, software architecture, and design
- More than 5 years developing software in EPC/5GC technologies
- Proven successful technical leadership experience in 3G/4G/5G protocols
- In-depth knowledge of EPC and 5GC deployments with emphasis on S11/S1u, S5c/S5u, SXx, N3/N4/N11 interfaces
- Expert in multi-core, multi-process/multi-threaded systems, developing high-performance packet processing applications
- Expert in C/C++ coding
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated individual with ability to work in a high-achieving team or independently
