About the role

  • Define and steer the global portfolio strategy for software and digital solutions within the (hybrid) Commercial Cash Cycle — taking into account company objectives, market trends, customer needs, pain points and willingness to pay
  • Support the development of our vertical strategy beyond the existing portfolio — based on use cases with a particular focus on integrated digital solutions, including sales enablement and sales support
  • Identify and analyze new business ideas to evolve the (digital) commercial portfolio together with our customers; assume business lead responsibility for these ideas in early development stages
  • Work closely with product management, sales and regional teams to prioritize investments, plan resources and align market requirements with product roadmaps
  • Evaluate and integrate new technologies — e.g., AI — into the portfolio with a focus on customer-centric innovation and value creation
  • Develop and implement frameworks for portfolio governance, performance monitoring and health assessment
  • Support strategic key initiatives such as partner identification and enablement (e.g., for forecasting solutions), global campaigns, innovation projects, third-party integrations and country-specific cash-cycle analyses to holistically advance the cash cycle
  • Act as a sparring partner for senior leadership, providing well-founded insights and recommendations on portfolio development and strategic direction

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent qualification
  • Proven experience in strategic portfolio management, ideally in the software and/or digital solutions space
  • Experience co-developing innovations with customers
  • Strong execution focus and results orientation
  • Experience in software sales and business development
  • Strong understanding of emerging technologies, including AI, and how to apply them to customer-centric innovations
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and communication with global, cross-functional teams
  • Fluent English; additional languages are a plus
  • Industry knowledge in commercial cash management is a plus
