About the role
- Ensuring operator responsibilities regarding system accountability in accordance with applicable legal requirements and internal regulations for building services at the Munich site, with particular focus on refrigeration and heating systems
- Coordinating and fulfilling the operator’s responsibilities for the technical operation and operational safety of the systems
- Monitoring maintenance and service contracts for technical systems, including technical facility management (TGM) service agreements
- Acting as the technical point of contact for the external site manager
- Planning, commissioning and supervising technical maintenance, repair and refurbishment work
- Managing fault and alarm reporting for technical systems and communicating accordingly with users
- Conducting vulnerability analyses and initiating and implementing process improvements
- Optimizing systems during ongoing operation
- Participating in the design of new systems, providing commissioning support for new installations, and revitalizing/upgrading existing systems
- Planning costs, schedules, permits and execution for capital projects as well as for maintenance and repair works
Requirements
- Qualified master craftsman, technician or Bachelor/Master of Engineering with a specialization in heating, refrigeration, ventilation, sanitary/plumbing, or alternatively electrical engineering
- Ideally a certified refrigeration technician
- Professional experience in building services/technical building equipment
- Good knowledge of process-oriented IT systems and applications
- Good knowledge of health, occupational, fire and environmental protection regulations
- Assertiveness, decisiveness and an independent, self-reliant working style
- Conceptual and entrepreneurial thinking and acting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and a high degree of team orientation
