About the role

  • Support the CIO in developing, implementing and monitoring the IT strategy
  • Coordinate IT budgeting, forecasting and cost tracking in collaboration with Controlling/Finance
  • Consolidate financial and operational inputs from IT departments into management reports and dashboards
  • Support portfolio and investment planning through financial analyses and tracking of relevant metrics
  • Prepare and follow up on management meetings; create presentations, reports, analyses, KPIs and decision papers
  • Manage and coordinate cross-departmental IT projects and initiatives
  • Monitor budget, resources and timelines within the CIO Office
  • Communicate and align with internal and external stakeholders
  • Contribute to the optimization of IT finance and reporting processes

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in IT controlling/IT finance, IT portfolio management, IT strategy or a similar analytical role
  • Experience managing complex projects and in stakeholder management
  • Knowledge of modern IT frameworks/methods (e.g. ITIL, agile methodologies) is an advantage
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Structured, independent and meticulous way of working
  • Hands-on mentality, organisational skills and assertiveness
  • Business-fluent German and English
