About the role
- Supports the Tooling, Maintenance and Production areas with technical expertise regarding the Tools & Dies
- Coordinate Launch activities (design reviews, buyoff activities at die shops and home line)
- Responsible for Engineering Change activities (quoting, outsourcing, design reviews, buyoffs and run offs at home line)
- Continuous improvement leader for material saving, throughput activities, process improvements, quality improvements and other improvement plans
- Work closely with Quality department and customers to improve build issues and quality scores
Requirements
- 8+ years automotive tooling experience preferred; 10+ years in tool & die, with a journeyman card required
- Strong Microsoft computers skills required
- Quality Assurance knowledge required
