About the role

  • Responsible for implementing and further developing Lean and Operational Excellence standards across Europe
  • Coordinate digital transformation
  • Coach leaders and employees in Lean leadership
  • Conduct maturity assessments and facilitate Kaizen and problem-solving formats (A3, 8D)
  • Manage the regional CI (Continuous Improvement) pipeline with measurable results
  • Provide methodological support for greenfield and brownfield projects
  • Design and implement shopfloor management and tier-meeting structures (daily/weekly)
  • Ensure hybrid shopfloor systems including clear escalation mechanisms
  • Collaborate with Project Engineering on digitization, automation, and smart factory initiatives
  • Promote best-practice sharing, benchmarking, and One-GF standardization

Requirements

  • Degree in industrial engineering, production/operations management, or a related field
  • Several years of experience in Lean Management/Operational Excellence, ideally with Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
  • Solid practical experience in shopfloor-driven transformations and applying common Lean methods
  • Excellent German and English skills (minimum C1)
  • Strong coaching, facilitation, and communication skills
  • Hands-on mentality, pragmatic approach, and high self-initiative
  • Intercultural competence and willingness to travel frequently (approx. 40–60%)
