About the role
- Responsible for implementing and further developing Lean and Operational Excellence standards across Europe
- Coordinate digital transformation
- Coach leaders and employees in Lean leadership
- Conduct maturity assessments and facilitate Kaizen and problem-solving formats (A3, 8D)
- Manage the regional CI (Continuous Improvement) pipeline with measurable results
- Provide methodological support for greenfield and brownfield projects
- Design and implement shopfloor management and tier-meeting structures (daily/weekly)
- Ensure hybrid shopfloor systems including clear escalation mechanisms
- Collaborate with Project Engineering on digitization, automation, and smart factory initiatives
- Promote best-practice sharing, benchmarking, and One-GF standardization
Requirements
- Degree in industrial engineering, production/operations management, or a related field
- Several years of experience in Lean Management/Operational Excellence, ideally with Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
- Solid practical experience in shopfloor-driven transformations and applying common Lean methods
- Excellent German and English skills (minimum C1)
- Strong coaching, facilitation, and communication skills
- Hands-on mentality, pragmatic approach, and high self-initiative
- Intercultural competence and willingness to travel frequently (approx. 40–60%)
