About the role
- Analyze, manage, and interpret geospatial data to support JANUS contract deliverables
- Create and maintain high-quality maps and GIS products using ArcGIS 10.x, ArcGIS Pro, and/or Erdas Imagine
- Apply QA/QC protocols to ensure accuracy and integrity of geospatial outputs
- Leverage remote sensing techniques to contribute to land and ground cover datasets
- Collaborate with a remote team of analysts, data managers, and mission leads
- Use Microsoft Office 365 for reporting, communication, and documentation
- Maintain file structure and data hygiene using Windows File Explorer and standardized workflows
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in GIS, Remote Sensing, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Hands-on experience with ArcGIS 10.x and/or ArcGIS Pro and extensions
- MUST HAVE ENC and DNC experience
- Experience with Erdas Imagine or similar remote sensing software
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Windows File Explorer
