About the role
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a national sales team to achieve individual and collective sales targets.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and support to maximize their potential and performance.
- Implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth in the electrical wholesaler and merchant channels, working closely with the Domus Sales Director to deliver long term results. This includes identifying new business opportunities and market segments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at electrical wholesalers, merchants, and contractors. Collaborate with these partners to develop mutually beneficial sales initiatives.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive products, and market developments. Utilise market insights to adapt and refine sales strategies and product offerings by feeding market intelligence into the relevant NPD, marketing and sales leaders.
- Regularly report on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback to the senior management team. Use data and insights to make informed decisions and adjustments to the sales strategy. Prepare and deliver clear, impactful presentations to the leadership team.
- Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for the sales team, keeping them up-to-date with product knowledge and sales techniques.
Requirements
- Experience of the HVAC industry
- Experience of the electrical wholesale, merchant market is essential
- Excellent commercial and financial awareness with a strong understanding of the competitive landscape and market knowledge
- An outstanding ambassador for the company, operating at a senior level with high standard of professionalism and integrity
- Ability to influence and drive change with confidence
- Proven leadership skills managing a sizeable external sales force, demonstrating an ability to drive results through a high performing team with a passion for using KPI to maximise productivity
- Proven sales executive experience exceeding targets, with ability to drive the sales process
- Ability to communicate, present and influence at all levels of the organisation
