💰 $140,000 - $155,000 per year
About the role
- Review and negotiate contracts for design, architecture and related professional services.
- Engage with business management to balance opportunities and challenges and make informed business decisions.
- Manage project issues, including allegations of design and construction deficiencies.
- Work with project teams to mitigate potential claims and escalate response as appropriate.
- Develop and deliver legal training for Gensler’s technical staff.
- Advise on general business issues (collections, staffing, licensure, etc.).
Requirements
- Active bar admission
- 3-5 years of law firm or in house experience (transactional or litigation) with experience in or a demonstrated interest in the design and construction industry
- Strong emotional intelligence and relationship-building skills
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
- Ability to tailor communication style to diverse audiences and creatively resolve negotiation barriers.
- Administrative self-sufficiency.
- Periodic travel required.
