About the role
- Market Development Manager to support and grow our agent network in the Charlotte, NC area
- Combine field training, local relationship building, and grassroots marketing to help agents reach new clients and communities
- Onboard and train agents (in-person and virtual)
- Help agents build marketing plans and reach sales goals
- Provide hands-on coaching, mentorship, and performance tracking
- Build relationships with senior centers, nonprofits, clinics, and hospitals
- Coordinate joint educational events and workshops
- Represent Agility at networking groups and local associations
- Organize health fairs, seminars, and community outreach events
- Guide agents on referral strategies, social media, and local advertising
- Track event ROI and regional agent performance
Requirements
- 3+ years in Medicare, ACA, insurance sales, or FMO/channel support
- Active Life & Health Insurance License (preferred, or willingness to obtain)
- AHIP or FFM certification (preferred, or willingness to obtain)
- Strong knowledge of Medicare Advantage, ACA plans, and compliance
- Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to travel locally/regionally; valid driver’s license & insurance
- Willingness and ability to travel locally/regionally for community events, agent meetings, and partnership-building activities
- Valid driver's license, insurance, and transportation
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends for special events and agent training sessions
