About the role
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices and payments in line with company policies and accounting standards
- Reconcile vendor accounts, investigate and resolve discrepancies
- Manage invoices parked or blocked for discrepancies and ensure resolution
- Handle dispute resolution with vendors and ensure alignment with payments
- Verify delivery notes with Logistics for missing entries upon material receipt
- Perform quality controls to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
- Support internal controls and provide documentation for internal and external audits
- Act as an interface between the Company and Suppliers, safeguarding company interests
- Escalate to Management issues that could cause production stops or potential fraud risks
- Review, analyze, and resolve GRNI (Goods Received Not Invoiced) items within assigned targets
- Participate in meetings and calls to address GRNI issues with stakeholders
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in line with company policy and accepted accounting practices
Requirements
- University degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or related field (minimum qualifications stated)
- Education Level listed as Associate's Degree/College Diploma in job metadata
- Good accounting knowledge of Accounts Payable experience
- Fluency in English and German
- Previous experience working with SAP
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate level or higher)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Organizational skills with ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Detail-oriented, professional, and reliable
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
