About the role
- Proactively follow up with end users on overdue invoices, unapplied cash, and outstanding credit notes to ensure timely resolution and payment
- Establish regular calls with key customers and business client partners to work through account past dues and prevent recurrence
- Work with strategic customers to determine root causes of past due and establish processes to prevent future recurrence
- Establish operational mechanisms to drive accountability across the client business with commercial account and finance managers
- Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with customers via phone and email
- Lead initiatives to establish and continuously improve a robust and scalable collections process within the team
- Consistently meet or exceed daily KPIs and contribute to achieving quarterly cash collection targets
- Maintain accurate records of collection activities and provide regular updates to management on account status and risk exposure
- Support finance team and client; calling is the main method of contact
Requirements
- Minimum years of experience in AR collections (not numerically specified), preferably in a shared services or multinational environment
- Experience working with clients or in a regulated industry is a plus
- Strong understanding of AR processes, cash application, and credit management
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Minimum C1 and 1 Nordic language at the same C1 level
- Voice process confident to call customers and resolve aging past dues
- Education Level: Diploma/Vocational Course
