About the role
- Manage, validate and reconcile Receivables, mainly consisting of: Triage and process incoming payments according to SOP
- Verify completeness and accuracy of transactions reported by customers
- Raise queries and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain mailbox and document triaging
- Check arithmetical accuracy of calculations and deduction conditions
- Process bookings and financial settlements in admin systems
- Monitor daily payments received in the BEN/AWB
- Identify and resolve discrepancies between closings and calculations
- Transfer payments to internal TAs within defined SLA
- Manage Marine master spreadsheet and IOM premium allocation process
- Process manual technical bookings for sample brokers
- Monthly and weekly statements analysis for a sample of brokers
- Successfully graduating the training plan attached to the position and the tasks
- Updating the working procedures periodically
- Training other team members regarding the daily tasks whenever necessary and requested by the manager
- Maintain and develop relationships with relevant markets and client serviced by team and all major customers within those markets as appropriate
- Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement and innovative solutions and communicate to direct manager
Requirements
- Very good knowledge of English B2
- Good MS Office (especially MS Excel) knowledge
- Analytical thinking and self-starter
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, Accounting, Finance, Business Management or related field (preferred)
- Previous experience in technical accounting or receivables management (preferred)
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (preferred)
- Attention to detail and analytical skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Professional writing skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
- Knowledge of SAP and other accounting systems (would be a plus)
- Insurance Certification/ experience (would be a plus)
- Working experience with various countries and cultures (would be a plus)
- Previous working experience on any AML/ KYC tools (would be a plus)
