About the role
- Execute full-cycle sales efforts, including outbound prospecting, opportunity development, deal execution, and account expansion
- Own and grow assigned accounts while actively identifying and closing net-new customers
- Build, manage, and close a robust sales pipeline to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals
- Create and execute account and territory strategies that balance new customer acquisition with long-term account growth
- Develop and execute regional sales plans aligned with company growth objectives
- Support and collaborate with channel partners to generate new sales opportunities and expand existing relationships
- Deliver accurate sales forecasts and maintain clear visibility into pipeline health
- Track and manage the sales process through all stages in the CRM, ensuring consistent metrics and performance reporting
- Represent Genomenon at conferences, industry events, and corporate meetings as required
- Contribute to broader company initiatives and perform additional duties as needed to support Genomenon’s mission
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences required; Master’s degree preferred
- Proven experience selling bioinformatics and/or NGS solutions to clinical laboratories
- Demonstrated success in both new business development and account growth, with consistent quota achievement and overperformance
- Strong experience building, managing, and forecasting sales pipelines using a CRM system (ideally Salesforce)
- Ability to develop and execute strategic account and territory plans
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated team player with a strong work ethic and a “can-do” attitude
- Desire to contribute to a high-energy, mission-driven startup environment
