About the role

  • Execute full-cycle sales efforts, including outbound prospecting, opportunity development, deal execution, and account expansion
  • Own and grow assigned accounts while actively identifying and closing net-new customers
  • Build, manage, and close a robust sales pipeline to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals
  • Create and execute account and territory strategies that balance new customer acquisition with long-term account growth
  • Develop and execute regional sales plans aligned with company growth objectives
  • Support and collaborate with channel partners to generate new sales opportunities and expand existing relationships
  • Deliver accurate sales forecasts and maintain clear visibility into pipeline health
  • Track and manage the sales process through all stages in the CRM, ensuring consistent metrics and performance reporting
  • Represent Genomenon at conferences, industry events, and corporate meetings as required
  • Contribute to broader company initiatives and perform additional duties as needed to support Genomenon’s mission

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences required; Master’s degree preferred
  • Proven experience selling bioinformatics and/or NGS solutions to clinical laboratories
  • Demonstrated success in both new business development and account growth, with consistent quota achievement and overperformance
  • Strong experience building, managing, and forecasting sales pipelines using a CRM system (ideally Salesforce)
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic account and territory plans
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated team player with a strong work ethic and a “can-do” attitude
  • Desire to contribute to a high-energy, mission-driven startup environment
