• Develop and implement a vision and strategy for the Discovery Data Science team, integrating computational, ML/AI, and data-oriented approaches to transform the drug design and discovery process.

Vice President, Head of Discovery Data Science

Data Engineer

• Support the mission of the Translational & Quantitative Science (TQS) data engineering function by creating high-quality data products that integrate preclinical and clinical translational datasets.
• Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of TQS data products, including discovery, prototyping, architecture definition, implementation, validation, and deployment in partnership with enterprise data engineering team.
• Architect modern data solutions using modern engineering patterns (e.g., lakehouse principles, modular pipelines, metadata-driven design) and develop fit-for-purpose data models, ETL/ELT workflows, and analytical infrastructure that meet the diverse needs of translational research.
• Apply data product management principles to define features, requirements, and success metrics, ensuring data products deliver measurable scientific and operational value.
• Partner with enterprise engineering teams to deliver scalable, automated, and maintainable infrastructure and deployment workflows, and drive data engineering excellence by enforcing best practices in code quality, CI/CD pipelines, testing, observability, and documentation within TQS’s data engineering organization.
• Prototype new data or analytics approaches to evaluate emerging technologies, tools, or frameworks that could enhance TQS data capabilities.

Associate Director, TQS Data Engineering – Infrastructure

Application Engineer

• Responsible for laboratory software applications, in close collaboration with users and IT stakeholders.
• Experience with LabVantage LIMS required, including hands-on configuration/development expertise; furthermore, experience with Genedata, Waters, Zontal, Environmental Monitoring Systems and/or Equipment Booking Systems is regarded as an advantage.
• Budget spend responsible for these applications, including license management, realization of developments and roadmap progressions as required by business and shared by vendors.
• Ensure validated state and continuous compliance of both GxP and non-GxP systems through system lifecycle activities, applying a risk-based approach, and be the systems SME during audits.
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot backend components of lab applications, including databases, file storage integrations, Cloud connectivity, Linux, Windows-based services, and scheduled jobs.

• Advise on global privacy and data protection matters across jurisdictions (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, APPI, PIPL, etc.), ensuring compliance in Genmab’s scientific, digital, and operational activities.
• Support the implementation and evolution of Genmab’s Global Privacy Program, including Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).
• Support the development of templates and negotiation playbooks for the Legal, Procurement and other relevant business teams to draft, review, and negotiate data processing agreements (DPAs), standard contractual clauses (SCCs), and other privacy-related contractual terms.

• Accountable for leading and conducting the end-to-end data-driven feasibility process.

• Provide medical leadership and oversight of safety strategy and execution for assigned Genmab oncology assets across the product lifecycle.
• Ensure subject safety and welfare while driving compliant, scientifically rigorous safety decision-making, implementation and communications.
• Lead and oversee major safety-related activities for assigned products, including safety surveillance, signal detection, benefit-risk evaluation, and risk management throughout the product lifecycle.
• Chair and manage Genmab Safety Committees, ensure appropriate charters, effective meeting management, and timely documentation of decisions.
