About the role
- Develop and maintain an extensive working knowledge of Genetec's software and hardware solution
- Define product and functional requirements based on customer and partner requirements
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners
- Conduct in-depth product demonstrations and presentations
- Support sales team in responding to RFP’s
- Participate in trade shows, exhibitions and seminars
- Create white papers and application notes on Genetec’s software solutions
- Provide feedback from the field to Product Management
Requirements
- Experience in sales engineering or field engineering for an IT or security company.
- Possess strong troubleshooting skills
- Travel within territory at a minimum 40% of the time
- Knowledge of security systems
- Video devices and software or Access Control systems
- Networking principles and the IP protocol
- Windows Operating Systems.
- PC configuration
- General IT technologies
- French, English and Arabic
