About the role

  • Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for Genetec University’s learning management system (LMS)
  • Configure and maintain LMS components and communicate updates to internal stakeholders
  • Support the rollout of new LMS features such as gamification, forums and community features
  • Provide support to Genetec internal teams who deliver programs through Genetec University
  • Participate in and support the monthly Genetec University community
  • Create tutorials using our course design tool and publish course templates on Genetec University
  • Serve as the expert for Genetec’s digital accreditation and badge platform
  • Create, manage and update badges for multiple programs and audiences
  • Collaborate with Marketing and internal stakeholders on badge design, branding and updates
  • Support recognition programs and events (current and upcoming)
  • Manage and track internal communications and requests related to Genetec University
  • Contribute to internal communication strategies such as email campaigns, newsletters and webinars
  • Maintain and update the LEEDS SharePoint page and the Learning section of the Sales Tools SharePoint to ensure information remains current and accurate
  • Assist with organizing and executing various learning and partnership events
  • Support coordination of technical college programs and new external educational initiatives
  • Contribute to the rollout of new programs
  • Work closely with Sales teams to support deployment of enterprise training plans for large end-customer accounts
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure training programs align with business objectives and client needs
  • Ensure DevOps, Confluence and associated resource repositories are accurate and up to date

Requirements

  • Education in marketing, communications, business or a related field
  • Excellent written communication skills in English and French
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Comfortable working with digital platforms
  • Creative and collaborative mindset
  • Positive, proactive attitude
  • Experience with LMS platforms (experience with Docebo is a strong asset)
  • Experience with digital certifications, learning content tools or community programs is a plus
  • Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken (this role requires interaction with our international colleagues and customers)
