About the role
- You will report to the Software Manager and be directly responsible for a team of developers
- Manage people and their work to drive progress on deliverables
- Plan and organize daily work using Kanban and Azure DevOps
- Act as the primary point of contact with customers and the support team for login and SSO topics, ensuring triage, communication, and incident resolution
- Ensure the team and its products maintain a high level of security
- Help the team define, develop, deploy, and maintain features as well as the Genetec Login product as a whole
- Train and mentor colleagues in their technical and professional development
- Promote a culture of excellence based on both teamwork and individual contributions, empowering and motivating the team to take initiative, innovate, and learn from mistakes
- Explore new technologies and experiment by developing within a cutting-edge, cloud-based distributed microservices architecture
- Participate in the on-call rotation as needed and according to the established schedule to ensure an appropriate response to alerts and incidents
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
- At least 5 years of experience in a cloud software development role
- Experience managing teams in an Agile and DevOps environment
- Passion for cutting-edge technologies, teamwork, and DevOps
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in French and English, both spoken and written
