About the role

  • Assume territorial responsibility for the Raleigh NC Area
  • Engage dealers through regular contacts and business reviews
  • Build relationships with dealer partners
  • Promote, support, and coach dealer owners, managers, sales consultants, and service advisors
  • Highlight the benefits and profitability of GM software and subscriptions
  • Develop in-dealership training to onboard customers across various channels
  • Drive adoption and sales of products like GM Rewards, My GM Rewards Credit Card, OnStar safety services, customer prepaid plans, and over-the-air upgrades
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on the My GM Rewards Loyalty program
  • Conduct live training or remote calls with dealer leadership and personnel
  • Build strong, productive relationships within GM’s field team ecosystem
  • Conduct monthly sales performance analysis and support performance targets
  • Assist in product launches and ensure streamlined marketing and advertising between dealers and GM
  • Ensure dealers are providing customers with the necessary technological capabilities
  • Monitor Dealer, District, Zone, and Regional metrics
  • Resolve all dealer-customer satisfaction issues

Requirements

  • 2+ years in sales and customer service; Outside Sales preferred
  • Computer skills with Microsoft Office proficiency: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Comfortable with technology and subscription services, including troubleshooting mobile app and internal platform issues
  • Ability to effectively and efficiently use your time to focus on the most impactful activities and challenge those that distract from the identified goals
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proper use of language, grammar, and diction
  • Daily travel within market, minimal overnights
  • EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years of experience in the automotive industry in lieu of a degree.
