About the role
- Lead a multi-disciplinary team across software, systems, cloud infrastructure, and IT to develop and operate the industry-leading SOLE virtual test and calibration platform.
- Act as the Product Directly Responsible Individual (DRI), ensuring alignment with IT strategy and enterprise technical requirements.
- Oversee Technical Architecture Diagram (TAD) approvals, track cloud expenditures, and project scalability needs to meet business demands.
- Partner with MSP and VMEC teams to define developer requirements and drive the development of virtualization capabilities for infrastructure and application software testing.
- Collaborate with IT, Infrastructure, and cloud service providers to ensure 24/7 platform availability and adherence to security best practices.
- Manage strategic supplier relationships, including SOWs and Enterprise License Agreements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant engineering discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in a relevant field.
- Proven experience with on-premises-to-cloud and cloud-to-cloud migration projects.
- Hands-on experience deploying and maintaining complex applications in cloud environments.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Python, Java (Quarkus), or SystemC.
- Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of cloud cybersecurity standards and industry best practices.
- Expertise in designing and maintaining Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Demonstrated success in leading complex projects through high levels of ambiguity to completion.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
