About the role

  • Lead a multi-disciplinary team across software, systems, cloud infrastructure, and IT to develop and operate the industry-leading SOLE virtual test and calibration platform.
  • Act as the Product Directly Responsible Individual (DRI), ensuring alignment with IT strategy and enterprise technical requirements.
  • Oversee Technical Architecture Diagram (TAD) approvals, track cloud expenditures, and project scalability needs to meet business demands.
  • Partner with MSP and VMEC teams to define developer requirements and drive the development of virtualization capabilities for infrastructure and application software testing.
  • Collaborate with IT, Infrastructure, and cloud service providers to ensure 24/7 platform availability and adherence to security best practices.
  • Manage strategic supplier relationships, including SOWs and Enterprise License Agreements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant engineering discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience with on-premises-to-cloud and cloud-to-cloud migration projects.
  • Hands-on experience deploying and maintaining complex applications in cloud environments.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Python, Java (Quarkus), or SystemC.
  • Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Strong understanding of cloud cybersecurity standards and industry best practices.
  • Expertise in designing and maintaining Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Demonstrated success in leading complex projects through high levels of ambiguity to completion.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
