About the role
- Serve as the Voice of Quality to regional and global program execution teams
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with teams in South America and China
- Assess and ensure all quality targets and program deliverables are met to maximize customer satisfaction and reduce warranty costs
- Monitor product performance and escalate risks to leadership when needed
- Manage warranty incidents, support field actions, and participate in vehicle readiness evaluations
- Analyze data to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities
- Support the launch readiness of products for the Colombian market and other South American countries
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Project Management, Resource Management or Automotive Mechanical Engineering
- Fluent English (spoken and written, 100%)
- Portuguese is a plus
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the automotive industry or related sectors (auto parts, dealerships, suppliers, etc.)
- Strong command of problem-solving tools and statistical methods
- Knowledge in data analytics and AI-based tools
- Solid understanding of products, market trends, quality processes, manufacturing, and product development cycles
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to work effectively across functions, regions, and cultures
- Strong organizational, administrative, and workload management abilities
- Creativity and innovation mindset
