About the role

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of systems engineers, providing technical guidance, career development support, and performance feedback.
  • Drive cross-functional team leadership, collaborating closely with design, software, hardware, and validation teams to ensure seamless system integration and delivery.
  • Oversee the entire systems engineering lifecycle, from requirements definition and architecture design to implementation, testing, and deployment.
  • Implement and continuously improve performance management processes for the team, setting clear objectives, conducting regular reviews, and fostering a culture of accountability and high achievement.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks, developing innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.
  • Ensure adherence to industry best practices, company standards, and regulatory requirements in all systems engineering activities.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, presenting technical information clearly and concisely.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • Expertise in Workday Integrations and Workday development tools.
  • Proven experience in managing Workday Integration Development team.
  • Proven experience in a leadership or management role within a systems engineering environment.
  • Demonstrated ability in Coaching/Mentoring technical teams, fostering individual and collective growth.
  • Strong track record of Cross-Functional Team Leadership, effectively collaborating with diverse groups to achieve common goals.
  • Expertise in Performance Management methodologies, including goal setting, feedback, and development planning.
  • Extensive experience with the systems engineering lifecycle and methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation abilities.
