About the role
- Deliver simple solutions to complex problems as a Software Developer Senior at GDIT
- Tailor cutting-edge solutions to clients' unique requirements
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of customized solutions within the Salesforce platform
- Develop Lightning components by writing custom LWC in JavaScript and maintaining fluency with Apex
- Support the Product Owner in gathering requirements
- Oversee the end-to-end architecture of the Salesforce Platform and integrations
- Lead the complete development process from requirement analysis to deployment
- Collaborate with junior developers to perform code reviews and provide feedback
- Mentor and provide guidance to the development team members
Requirements
- 9+ years of related experience
- Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of relevant hands-on experience
- Valid Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification
- Hands-on programming/custom coding experience with Salesforce platform
- 3+ years of hands-on experience supporting the implementation of custom solutions on the Salesforce platform
- Extensive understanding of Salesforce.com best practices, Architecture, Design, Development, Administration, and security model
- Working knowledge and experience with complex business systems integration
- Consistent quality performance rated valued or higher
- US Citizenship Required
- Top Secret Clearance and ability to obtain DOE Q clearance
