Provide technical leadership and solution development aligned with cloud service offerings and mission/business objectives.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into secure, efficient, and mission aligned technical solutions while maintaining awareness of evolving DoD cloud policies.
Design and develop resilient, cloud-native solutions including front-end components, back-end services, and APIs using modern cloud technologies.
Implement DevOps practices including automated CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure provisioning, and configuration management using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and Azure DevOps.
Develop and execute automated and manual test plans to validate cloud-native solutions for functionality, performance, security, and compliance within DoD environments.
Document solution architectures, testing protocols, and production support procedures to ensure knowledge transfer and operational continuity.
Establish and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging to support operational stability, incident response, and continuous improvement in accordance with DoD/DISA standards.
Apply cloud governance frameworks including tagging standards, resource lifecycle management, access controls, and policy enforcement across multiple cloud environments.
Design cloud architectures in alignment with Zero Trust Architecture principles including least privilege access, identity-based segmentation, and continuous monitoring.
Support FinOps initiatives to optimize cloud spend, improve cost visibility, and support budget accountability within DoD financial environments.
Ensure architectural decisions and operational practices support DoD compliance objectives with working understanding of RMF and the ATO process.
Contribute to secure cloud provisioning and system hardening efforts using IaC aligned with DISA STIGs in IL4–IL6 environments.
Partner with cross-functional teams to interpret change requirements, provide technical expertise, and guide implementation aligned with mission and business goals.
Identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement to enhance solution performance, security, and cost efficiency.

10 + years of related experience.
Bachelors Degree in related technical discipline.
Skills: Cloud Platform, Cloud Solutions, DevSecOps, Public Clouds.
10 years of experience architecting and deploying solutions across multiple public cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Strong understanding of cloud governance frameworks, tagging strategies, IAM, and cloud resource provisioning policies.
Experience implementing FinOps practices, cloud cost modeling, and usage optimization strategies within a government funding or chargeback model.
Working knowledge of RMF and ATO processes, including required documentation and lifecycle phases (SSP, POA&M, etc.).
Familiarity with DISA STIGS, Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) principles, and DoD cloud security baselines.
Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
Expertise in developing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines and automation (AWS CodePipeline, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD).
Proficiency in monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Stackdriver) and building dashboards/alerts.
Skilled in developing scalable APIs and implementing serverless, event-driven architectures (AWS API Gateway, AWS Lambda).
Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
Experience supporting DoD classified systems in IL5 or IL6 environments (preferred).
DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II or III certification (e.g., Security+, CISSP, CISM) (preferred).
Cloud Architect certifications preferred (AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Certified – Professional Cloud Architect).
Travel Required: 10-25%.
