About the role

  • Provide operational leadership, oversight, and technical expertise for modernized network design and implementation
  • Support the technical planning with the chief architect and implementation manager
  • Develop and allocate a team of subordinate technical network engineers
  • Support the procurement of network material
  • Provide human and material resource inputs to the financial team
  • Coordinate with Government Points of Contact (POCs) to coordinate base access, clearance, escorts, personnel and equipment
  • Assist the PM with ensuring clear, consistent, timely and accurate communications with internal and external project stakeholders
  • Provide input into network design and technical recommendations to program and operation teams
  • Review project requirements and develop strategies for future work

Requirements

  • 8 + years of related experience
  • US Citizenship Required
  • Bachelor of Science (equivalent years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree)
  • Ability to work effectively in a virtual teaming environment
  • Thorough understanding of Wired, Wireless, and general IT functions
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, documents and governmental regulations
  • Strong commitment to a team environment and the ability to work collaboratively
  • Strong coordination and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Security+ CE or DoD 8140 equivalent
